I'm a ceramicist, mould maker and occasionally a sculptor. My work deals with constant tinkering, finding new materials, constructing equipment and tools. In my modelling work I use fancy-schmancy lasers, 3D printing technology and an impressive collection of measuring equipment. I'm thorough and don't like to repeat my tasks, so I aim at getting my work done once and done right. As a ceramicist and an artist, I produce functional works as well as sculptures, and what they have in common is that their form is usually simple and their surface raw. I use a variety of techniques to create ceramics: potter's wheel, mould casting, hand-building and combined techniques. I like what I do.
